Not only is this a great option for pets, think of this as a "Reading Couch" for your kids! There are lots of impractical, flimsy and incredibly expensive kids chairs out there. We now have two of these with the fleece covers for our children's rooms and read all our nap and bedtime stories in them. They've withstood the climbing, jumping and all the wear-and-tear the kids can do for the past two years. I even slept on one when my son was sick and found it incredibly comfortable.
